Nunivak Island Subsistence Cod, Red Salmon and Grayling Fisheries -
past and present

NPT received a major grant from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Office of Subsistence Management to conduct a study of contemporary and past use and importance of three species of fish native to the waters of Nunivak Island. The project dates are from April 2005 through December 2006. This project has also received financial assistance from the Coastal Villages Region Fund.
